This fan is a replacement unit to replace the 1st fan which failed to function; out of the box. Item delivered shipped within only a plastic bag. Cardboard carton received crushed/crumpled. (refer to attached photos) Logically it should have been wrapped in bubble wrap if shipping only in plastic bag. Illogically was not. Common sense identifies room for improvement. Fortunately (miraculously???) the fan inside was not seen to suffer cosmetic damage. I tested the fan immediately to ensure electrical/mechanical functionality. Even more surprising, this fan functioned fine out of the crumpled carton (in contrast to the 1st shipment which failed to function out of the good condition box) Looks reasonably good. Rather small (7" Diameter X 11" High / 18cm X 28 cm) yet unexpectedly rather noisy, integral, base fan. I suggest future Customers weigh the Pros & Cons prior to committing to purchase.
